Plagiarism Cheak Policy

Minagro: Jurnal Agronomi is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software prior to the peer-review process.

The journal defines plagiarism as the use of others’ ideas, words, data, or work without proper acknowledgment, including but not limited to:

  • Direct plagiarism

  • Self-plagiarism

  • Mosaic or patchwork plagiarism

  • Duplicate or redundant publication

Similarity Threshold

  • Manuscripts with an overall similarity index exceeding 20% may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.

  • A similarity score above 5% from a single source is not acceptable, excluding references, quoted material, and commonly used phrases.

Editorial Actions

If plagiarism is detected at any stage of the editorial process, Minagro: Jurnal Agronomi will take appropriate action in accordance with COPE guidelines, which may include:

  • Requesting revision and clarification from the author(s)

  • Rejection of the manuscript

  • Retraction of the published article

  • Notification to the author’s affiliated organization, if necessary

Author Responsibility

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are original and properly cited. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work complies with the journal’s plagiarism policy and ethical standards.
