Author Guidelines

TOMADIKA: Jurnal Pendidikan Dasar dan Inovasi Pembelajaran is a scientific journal that provides a platform for the publication of research findings, conceptual studies, and innovative practices in the field of basic education. This journal is intended for academics, researchers, and education practitioners to disseminate ideas and scientific findings that contribute to improving the quality of learning in elementary schools.

All manuscripts must be submitted through the electronic journal system (Open Journal Systems/OJS) managed by the TOMADIKA editorial team. Authors are required to register first as an Author before uploading their articles through the E-Journal portal available on the official journal website: https://ejournal.altianka.id/index.php/tomadika/index

Through this system, authors can follow all stages of manuscript submission online. If authors experience difficulties during the submission process, they may contact the editorial team via email at:  sopacuajems24@gmail.com for further assistance.

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English using proper, correct, and communicative language.
  • Submitted articles must be original works, have not been previously published, and must not be under consideration by another journal.
  • Every manuscript must be free from plagiarism and will undergo a similarity check process.
  • Articles must follow the journal template provided in Microsoft Word format.
  • Every manuscript will undergo an anonymous review process (double-blind peer review) to ensure objectivity.
  • The final decision regarding the manuscript (accepted, revised, or rejected) rests entirely with the editor based on reviewers’ evaluations.
  • Manuscripts requiring revision must be revised according to reviewers’ comments and resubmitted within the specified time. Delayed revision submissions may result in the manuscript being processed as a new submission.

Article Structure

Title

The article title should be concise, informative, and reflect the main substance of the research. It is recommended not to be excessively long and to avoid uncommon abbreviations.

Author Identity

Authors’ names should be written in full without academic titles. Institutional affiliation and an active email address must be provided for correspondence purposes.

Abstract

The abstract should be written concisely and clearly, containing the background, research objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions.

  • Articles written in Bahasa Indonesia must include abstracts in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Articles written in English only require an abstract in English.
  • The abstract should not exceed 250 words and must include 3–5 keywords.

Introduction

This section should explain the research background, significance of the study, and relevant literature review. Authors should also explicitly state the research objectives at the end of this section.

Results and Discussion

This section presents the research findings supported by valid data and in-depth analysis. The discussion should explain the meaning of the findings, their relation to the research objectives, and comparisons with previous studies.

Conclusion

The conclusion contains a summary of the main findings that address the research objectives. Authors may also include implications of the findings or recommendations for future research.

References

The reference list should only include sources cited in the article. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote. References should be dominated by primary sources (journals, proceedings, or research reports) published within the last 10 years. Citations must follow the APA 7th Edition style.
